Mutton | 1 kg |
Onion paste | 1 table-spoon |
Ginger paste | 1 table-spoon |
Garlic paste | 1 tea-spoon |
Cinnamon | 4 pieces |
Cardamom | 4 pieces |
Kewra water | 2 table-spoon |
Yogurt | 0.5 cup |
Sugar | 2 tea-spoon |
Salt | 2 tea-spoon |
Ghee | 0.5 cup |
Onion, sliced | 6 whole |
Prune | 6 whole |
Oil | 0.25 cup |
Procedure: cut the mutton into a number of pieces as desired and wash. Mix all the paste ingredients, yogurt and quarter cup ghee with the pieces of mutton and put it on the oven. When the mutton becomes tender add sugar and salt. If the mutton is not enough soft add some boiled water and simmer more. Put and put another pan on the oven ghee and oil in it add mutton and braise until it is brown. Add kewra water, prune and one cup of water and simmer it closing the pan tight.
